Thermal &Exergetic Enhancement of a Roughened Solar Air Heater using Matlab

    Abstract

    Abstract In this work, relative numerical investigation on Exergy Enhancement Ratio (EER) and Thermal Enhancement Ratio (TER) of different wire ribs of V-shape solar air duct carried out. In this study V-shape, Multi V-shape and Multi V-shape with gap wire ribs roughness has been taken into consideration. The execution assessment as far as Exergy Enhancement Ratio and Thermal Enhancement Ratio (TER) has beencarried out systematically using MATALAB. Exergy Enhancement Ratio and Thermal Enhancement Ratio (TER) computed at different irradiation and fixed values of other parameters. These parameters are relative roughness height ratio(e/D=0.034), angle of attack(α=60°), relative roughness pitch ratio (p/e)=8, relative roughness gap proportion (g/e)=1, relative roughness width ration(W/w)=6 and relative roughness distance ratio(Gd/Lv)=0.69.
